About Carmen Wong

Carmen Wong started her music lessons with piano at the age of eight. After experiencing a few years, she had found her favourite instrument was violin, and has been dedicating to it up to now. She studied under the guidance of famous conductor and violinist Mr. Leung Ka Fai and Mr. Huang Hua Yu of Baptist University Music Department. She frequently takes part in public performances in local and the overseas. Recently, she is the 1st violinist of VTC symphony orchestra, where learning music from conductor Dr. Henry Shek. Moreover, she is currently serving as the 1st violinist of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, actively increasing opportunities for public performances, Also, she is teaching violin for private students and violin classes in many primary and secondary schools. Many students performed in various competitions and examinations with distinction and merit.

Carmen Wong 在八歲的時候就開始學習鋼琴。經歷了多年音樂學習後，黃氏最喜歡小提琴，並且一直習琴到現在。師隨著名指揮兼小提琴家梁家輝先生、浸會大學音樂系黃華予先生習琴。黃氏由 2007 年起經常參加本地及海外公開演出，出現在不同的表演場合。現任VTC交響樂團擔任第一位小提琴樂手，隨指揮石信之博士學習音樂。而且，現兼任香港青年愛樂樂團第一小提琴手，積極增加公開演出機會。此外，黃氏亦有教授一對一私人小提琴課，並在多間中、小學教授小提琴班。多個學生在各項比賽、考試得到優異、良好成績。
