About Carmen Wong
Ms Carmen Wong started her music lessons with piano at the age of eight. After that, she has been learning and practicing the violin. She studied under the guidance of famous conductor and violinist Mr. Leung Ka Fai and Mr. Huang Hua Yu of the Baptist University Music Department. She frequently takes part in public performances in local and the overseas. Recently, she is the assistant concertmaster and 1st violinist of VTC symphony orchestra, where learning music from conductor Dr. Henry Shek. Moreover, she usually appears in various orchestras as the violinist such as the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Metropolitan and Pop Orchestra, The Ordinary Chamber Orchestra, etc. She is actively engaging to public performances. Also, she is giving private lessons to students at different ages, and teaching violin in many primary and secondary schools. Many students performed in various competitions and examinations with awards, distinction and merit.
Ms Carmen Wong 在八歲的時候就開始學習鋼琴，其後學習小提琴，並且一直習琴到現在。師隨著名指揮兼小提琴家梁家輝先生、浸會大學音樂系黃華予先生習琴。Ms Wong由 2007年起經常參加本地及海外公開演出，出現在不同的表演場合。現任VTC交響樂團助理首席、擔任第一小提琴樂手，隨指揮石信之博士學習音樂。且曾任不同樂團小提琴手，如香港青年愛樂樂團、香港大都會流行樂團、The Ordinary Chamber Orchestra...等等，積極參加公開演出。此外，Ms Wong 亦有教授一對一私人小提琴課，並在多間中、小學教授小提琴班。多個學生在各項比賽、考試得到優異、良好成績。
